Elongation and the amount of crystallinity of the string are increased that gives a very clear, clean and concentrated sound. A surface treatment and a control driven by a comuputer using laser beam and photoelectric cells permit a real precision and regularity of the gauge. This new nylon is a great success and a real improvement in clarity of sound.
CORUM bass strings are more flexible than other Savarez basses, while there tension is the same. They have a very quick response which is generaly obtained with more tout strings. Consequently they offer tremendously increased sound modulation and expressive possibilities. They are perfectly true in tone and have an extended life.
